The following is a personal statement about my art work although personally I would have to say it’s more of a non-statement, in so much that my work does not make a statement, at least not currently.  Let’s just say my art speaks when spoken to.  It will tell you a story if it says anything at all.  I don’t feel right stating that my paintings will heal the earth and my sculpture can bring peace.  They can only be placeholders for whatever we want them to be. 

Please, however, let me not misdirect you, the reader, into assuming I have no purpose for making art.  Each piece has a reason for its existence, yet no one statement can be made to give them all one mother.
